MEET OUR TEAM

Charity Wooden
Girls' Director

Growing up as an athlete taught me the value of fitness, teamwork, and staying active. As a mom of three, a certified personal and group trainer, and a teacher with over 17 years of experience in physical education and sports medicine, I love sharing my passion for sports and health. In my role as Girls' Athletic Director, I work to help young athletes build confidence, learn leadership skills, and grow both on and off the field. Watching our lacrosse players develop their skills and love for the game is one of the best parts of what I do.

Jim Gannon.JPEG
Jim Gannon
U14 Conditioning Coach and Assistant

Jim joins us from the San Jose Redhawks, where he has passionately coached youth lacrosse for the past 12 years. Jim caught the lacrosse "bug" while living on the East Coast. After moving to California from Japan, he introduced the game to his oldest son, Lucas, at 7. Jim coached Lucas through the Redhawks program from 8U to 14U, fostering skill development and a love for the game.

Inspired by Lucas’s journey, Jim’s youngest daughter, Hudson, soon followed suit. After years of cheering on her brother from the sidelines, she picked up a stick at age 7 and joined the Redhawks. Jim took on the role of coach for the girls’ 8U team and has been a dedicated advocate for youth lacrosse ever since. He continued coaching Hudson’s teams until this spring when the Redhawks merged with San Jose Extreme.

Outside of lacrosse, Jim is a technology executive who resides in Saratoga with his wife, Michelle, and daughters, Lousha and Hudson. Their lively household includes two rescue dogs, two rescue cats, six chickens, an earthworm farm, and a beehive. When he’s not coaching or working, you’ll likely find Jim mountain biking or catching waves at one of Santa Cruz’s surf breaks.

Jim’s dedication to the sport, combined with his enthusiasm for fostering a love of lacrosse in young players, makes him an invaluable asset to our coaching team.
